Dr Maya Chadda Kulkarni , a versatile dancer and thinker is a professor of political science at William Paterson University of New Jersey and a research fellow at the Southern Asian Institute, Columbia University. Dr Chadda obtained an M.A. in Government from New York University and a Ph. D. from the New School of Social Research. She has taught in the past at the Brooklyn College and the New York University and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She is the recipient of several prestigious awards, serves on the review board of many organizations like the Woodrow Wilson Center and has authored many research articles on South Asian politics and foreign policy.
