Guru Indrani Parthasarathy
Indrani Parthasarathy, daughter and disciple of veteran Guru Smt. Radha Sridhar from Bangalore, is a skilled performer in the Pandanallur and Kalakshetra styles of Bharatanatyam, as well as in Kuchipudi and Carnatic classical music. She achieved first rank in the proficiency dance diploma exam in Karnataka and is a recognized graded artist on Indian television. With over 150 solo performances, she has contributed to her guru’s dance dramas and has performed extensively in India, the UAE, and the USA. Indrani has a strong interest in choreography, having created various dance features and dramas. For over thirty years, she has trained students in Bharatanatyam as the Artistic Director of the Abhinaya School of Performing Arts in Houston, Texas. Additionally, she has served on several non-profit boards and coordinated cultural events. Indrani also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and has taught elementary Math.
