“An aspiring Odissi dancer & performer from childhood, I always tried to pursue new methods and different styles in Ancient Indian Classical Art form & learnt under great Gurus of Odissi. As a professional artist I got opportunity to perform in prestigious festivals throughout my Nation & in few other Countries. With blessings of my Gurus I could conduct festivals & workshops in dance forms under different Governmental & NGO’s. Academically I pursued post-graduation in Geography to help me motivate in lectureship along with dance classes. I would like to be a part of an Organization where I can learn, teach & motivate others with best of my knowledge & experience.”
Having leanrt dance under RUDRAKSHYA FOUNDATION under the supervision of Guru Bichitrananda Swain at Bhubaneswar for 8 years, she started learning Odissi under the guidance of Guru Paushali Mukherjee at the tender age of 5. Few years trained under Shri Lingaraj Pradhjan and Shri Rajib Bhattacharya and attended several workshops under the guidance of Guru Ratikant Mohapatra and Guru Sujata Mohapatra held in Kolkata as well as in Bhubaneswar for summer workshops. Attended workshop on Natyashastra under the guidance of Roshmi Ganguly. Attended summer workshops on Odissi held in NEHRU CHILDREN’S MUSEUM. Attended workshop on Abhinaya under the guidance of Guru Jayant Kastuar at Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata & Guru Rama Vaidyanathan at Sparsh Studio, Kolkata.

Senior & Junior National Scholarship holder (CCRT) under the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India (2017 & 2006)
Graded Artist at Doordarshan Kendra.
Appeared as an external examiner for B.A final year exam in odissi dance at the Rabindra Bharati University.

Professional Experience:
Creative dance and choreographing in cultural program and many other inter school and college events. Was appointed as a coordinator for INDIA HERITAGE TRUST, Kolkata for 6 months. Worked as a former Project Assistant under Eastern Zonal Cultural Center, Kolkata under Govt. of India. Worked and coordinated with 550 artistes in Adi Vimba, a festival of folk and tribal Art forms of West Bengal, Jalpiaguri organized by E.Z.C.C, Ministry of Culture. Govt. of India. He has conducted one-day workshop with Imani Gaston (visiting dancer from US) at American Center for the Access Kids. (2016)
